Hello everyone, these are exciting times for The Shining Lights.  The CD Release couldn’t have gone any better!  Thanks to everyone who came out to the show, and to those who couldn’t make it but have bought the album!  The album is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.  We have been playing frequently in the OKC area and we also played the FreeTulsa! music festival.  We’ve decided to focus our efforts towards building up our regional fan base, by touring throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding states.  If you have any places in your area that’d you like to see us play, please let us know!  We’re also excited about putting together a street team, which would consist of: helping us promote shows, and reaching out to potential fans. You can let us know if you are interested by emailing us at theshininglightsbooking@gmail.com. You can also sign up for our mailing list on our blog or our website!  We’re excited to announce that we’ll be playing @ Deep Deuce Bar & Grill every thursday, we’ll be playing in Kansas for the first time,  and playing various shows in the OKC area.  We’re also looking into getting t-shirts and stickers.  As we are planning a lot right now, things can change a lot from day to day so we will be doing our best to keep you all updated!  As always, thank you for all your support!

Taking The Hill

Hello everyone! We are in the final stages of completing our first record titled “Taking The Hill”. It has been an exciting process. It has taken us a year and a half to write the tunes for this album. We’re excited about the end result! We recorded the album in our house and as we speak, the record is being mixed and mastered by our friend and local engineer Ryan Nowels. Also, in addition to this new blog, our new website, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc…are being completely restructured. We have been doing photo shoots, printing posters and tickets all getting ready for our CD Release July 29th @ the UCO Jazz Lab. We hope this blog will be a great avenue to connect and grow with our fans. Thanks for all of the support!
